Design & Cost

We are able to assist all clients with designs and ideas, from something fairly simple to quite complicated designs. We need a sketch and from that can evolve and develop some stunning designs for final approval. We have a design studio that will be willing to quote you for these services. Should you have finished artwork, we can work straight from that, in whatever format you wish to send it to us (CD or via e-mail) and this will not incur any origination costs at all.

Costings For Metal Badges

Typical costs will vary from project to project, but if you were looking for a round or oval pin badge with say 2 colours to it, the unit price would start at around £2.75 +VAT each for a top quality plated, hand enameled badge.

Minimum run would be 100 pieces. To add to these costs would be a once only tooling die cost in the region of £150 / £175 +VAT

Car badges (for mounting on a badge bar or grill) would start at £20 +VAT each, with die tooling costs from £550 +VAT, with a minimum quantity of 25 pieces. This would be for a three colour badge, although we have enameled as many as eight colours to one badge design.

Each colour usually adds approximately £0.75 to these large badges as it means an extra day of work and curing for each colour.
