Production & Timescales
Having
received written confirmation and a deposit placed with the order, we commence
production. The cutting of the die to your design will usually take 3 weeks
for a pin badge and 4 weeks for a car badge.
Once finished and an impression obtained, this will be sent to you for final
approval, prior to the hardening and heat treatment of the die.
The die is then used in the stamping process, with a lead and production time
of a further 3 weeks. Once stamped the badges will be sent off for plating
to a finish agreed with the client. Production and lead time a further 2 weeks.
Thereafter we will hand enamel each badge and place it in the curing room
prior to final inspection and packing. Production and lead time for this will
be 2 weeks
Therefore please do allow sufficient time for the production process: Pin badges 10 weeks Car badges 11 weeks. These times can sometimes vary up or down depending on quantity ordered and other work going through the Company at any one time.
Plastic
Name Badges - faster delivery and cheaper
These
are more simple to produce, as we cut out the die and plating times, therefore
costs are reduced. Short or long production runs can all be catered for, using
computerised engraving machines.
